  1. Introduction
    Arrow Puzzle (the “App”) is a free puzzle game for Android, developed and maintained by an independent developer (“we”, “us,” or “our”).
    This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is stored, which third-party services are involved, and what choices you have.
    By installing and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
  2. About The App
    Arrow Puzzle is a single-player logic game. Each level shows a board of bent arrows. You tap an arrow to slide it off the board, but an arrow can only leave if nothing blocks its path. You have three lives in every level, and you can use the Undo, Hint, and Restart buttons. The App also includes a Daily Challenge with a daily streak, several arrow designs and colours, sound and vibration controls, and a Dark Mode.
    The App does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details.
  3. Information Stored On Your Device
    The App saves the following small pieces of information only on your own device, in Android’s private app storage:
  • Your current level
  • Your daily streak and the date you last completed the Daily Challenge
  • Your settings: sound on or off, vibration on or off, Dark Mode on or off, arrow colour and arrow design
    This information is never sent to us or to any server operated by us. We cannot see it. It is used only to remember your progress and your preferences.
  1. Information We Do Not Collect
    We do not collect, store, or receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone data, precise location, or any other personal data. We do not run our own analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting service inside the App, and we do not sell your personal information.
  2. Advertising (Start.io)
    The App is free and is supported by advertising. Ads are provided by Start.io (formerly StartApp), a third-party advertising network. Currently, the App shows a banner ad at the bottom of the game screen.
    To show and measure ads, the Start.io software development kit (SDK) built into the App may collect and process certain information from your device, such as your Android advertising ID, IP address, device type and model, operating system and version, language, connection type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about how ads are shown and interacted with. This information is collected and handled by Start.io, not by us. We do not receive it.

  3. Your Consent And Choices
    When you first open the App, Start.io may show its own privacy notice where you can choose Agree or Disagree. The notice may be shown again after some updates. You can change your choices at any time:
  • Reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings (usually Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
  • Erase everything saved by the App using Settings > Clear All Data inside the App.
  • Uninstall the App to remove all data stored on your device.
    If you opt out of personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
  1. Permissions Used
    The App requests only the permissions it needs:
  • Internet: needed to download and display ads. The game itself can be played offline.
  • Network state: lets the App and the ad service check whether a connection is available before loading an ad.
  • Advertising ID: lets the ad service show and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
  • Vibrate: used only to give haptic feedback while you play. You can turn this off in Settings.
    The App does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, calendar, or location.
  1. Internet Connection
    You can play Arrow Puzzle without an internet connection. A connection is needed only to load ads. Saving your progress and running the Daily Challenge do not need the internet; the Daily Challenge uses the date on your device.
  2. Storage, Backup And Deletion
    Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off for this App, so your progress is not copied to the cloud and is not restored automatically. If you uninstall the App and install it again, you start again from Level 1.
    You can erase everything at any time from Settings > Clear All Data. This removes your level progress, daily streak, and all saved settings from your device and starts the game again from Level 1. This cannot be undone.
    Information held by Start.io is handled under Start.io’s own policy and cannot be erased by us from inside the App.
  3. Data Security
    Because the App stores information only on your device, in Android’s private app storage, it is protected by your device’s own security features. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Ads are delivered by Start.io over the internet; please see Start.io’s policy for how it protects data.
  4. Children’s Privacy
    Arrow Puzzle is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us, and we will help. Parents can also use their device’s parental controls and advertising settings.
  5. Your Rights
    Depending on where you live (for example, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct or delete it, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect or store personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to provide or delete. For data held by Start.io, please use the controls in its privacy notice, your device’s advertising settings, or contact Start.io directly.
  6. Third-Party Services
    The only third-party service inside the App is Start.io for advertising. The App has no social media login, no payments, and no in-app purchases. If you tap an ad, you leave the App and the advertiser’s own privacy policy applies. If you use Contact Us in Settings, your email app opens, and your email provider handles the message you send.
  7. Changes To This Policy
    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add features or change advertising partners. Any changes will appear on this screen in the App together with a new “Last updated” date. Please check this page from time to time.
